Terms of Use

Effective 1 Nov 2026 · Version 3

Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and collecdev LLC ("we", "us") about your use of the FitFare app for iPhone (the "App") and our website at fitfare.app (together, the "Service"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. In short: FitFare has no accounts, and your health and Screen Time data stay on your iPhone.

Apple's Standard EULA

The App is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If these Terms and the Standard EULA conflict, the Standard EULA applies to the extent of the conflict.

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims about the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and can enforce them against you.

Who can use the App

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. The App's content is rated 4+ on the App Store. You confirm that you are not barred from using the App under the laws of the country where you live.

What FitFare does

FitFare lets you earn screen time with physical activity. It reads activity data that you allow from Apple Health and uses Apple's Screen Time features to limit the apps you choose until you reach the goals you set. Some features need iOS permissions, and some (such as App & Website Usage) are available only in certain countries or iOS versions.

No medical advice

FitFare is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. The App does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Any health or research information in the App is general information. Studies describe results across populations, not what will happen to you. Talk to a doctor before you start a new exercise program, and stop any activity that causes pain or discomfort. You are responsible for exercising safely.

FitFare is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any organization named in the App.

Subscriptions

Full access to FitFare needs a subscription. We offer these plans:

  • Yearly: billed once a year, with a 1-week free trial for eligible new subscribers.
  • Monthly: billed once a month.
  • Lifetime: a one-time purchase that does not renew.

The App shows the current price, in your local currency, before you buy. Prices can change, and they can differ by country.

Payment. Apple charges payment to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. If you start a free trial, Apple charges you when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you subscribe during a free trial, you lose the rest of the trial.

Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges the renewal to your Apple ID account within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancel or manage. Apple manages your subscription. To cancel it or change your plan, go to your Apple ID settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions) on your iPhone. If you delete the App, your subscription does not stop: cancel it in your Apple ID settings. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Restore purchases. If you reinstall the App or use a new iPhone with the same Apple ID, tap Restore Purchases in the App to get your access back.

Refunds. Apple handles refunds for purchases made in the App. Request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. See our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service to break the law or help anyone else break it;
  • copy, change, reverse engineer, or make derivative works of the App, except where the law allows it;
  • try to get around the App's purchase checks or security;
  • resell, rent, or sublicense the App.

Third-party services

The App works with services from Apple (Apple Health, Screen Time, and the App Store) and RevenueCat (subscription management). Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them. Screen Time limits depend on iOS. We cannot promise that every app or website you choose can be limited, or that a limit cannot be removed in iOS settings.

Changes to the Service

We may change, suspend, or stop parts of the Service. If a change materially reduces a feature you paid for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

Ending your use of the Service

You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the App and cancelling your subscription in your Apple ID settings. We may end your licence to use the App if you break these Terms. The parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue after the end of your use continue.

Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or that your activity data will always be complete or correct.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims about the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the App and subscriptions in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep all rights that consumer law gives you, and this section does not limit them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date and version number on this page show which version is current. If a change is material, we will update this page before it takes effect. If you continue to use the App after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.
